Where do I find the dongle serial number?
The serial number may be printed on the dongle. If not, FrameWright is able to tell you:
- Download and install FrameWright Pro
- Select an item from the 'Framing' menu, e.g. "About FrameWright"
- FrameWright will display a dialog requesting your registration number. The dongle serial number will be displayed near the bottom.
What is the serial number used for?
Registration numbers for FrameWright are generated using the dongle serial number to ensure your license is protected from use by others.
Is it safe to divulge this number?
Yes - it has less significance than the registration number displayed on your car license plate.
