Timber Framing
Steel Framing
FrameWright Pro provides all the timber structures a frame designer would commonly require, including linear, tapered, cambered, jowl, curved, round, round tapered, and square to round. Each object has a user-interface (see below) including panels for jointing and scheduling. Timber textures are mapped onto the object in a direction most likely to suit the correct grain direction. All Pro objects have options to display their cut id and joint status.
FrameWright Pro also provides a library of commonly used steel types, including beam, joist, column, castellated, channel, angle, asymmetric, and hollow. Steel objects do not support numbering, jointing, or scheduling. Standard sizes are built in:
1. All support British Standard Sections BS 5950-1: 2000
2. Some also support US Standard Sections AISC/ASTM
