FrameWright adds a new tool specifically for framing.

Specify the cut, type, size, and jointing of the timber.

Framing objects are sized parametrically, but can also be freely cut, stretched, and rotated for complete design freedom.

Timber is not only designed piece by piece - it also has to work in a larger context. The Assembly tools group timber into a layup which can be edited in the virtual 'workshop floor' or 'building' as required.
